Glee 3
(Ages 5 to 18)
Monday, July 15 – Friday, July 19 – 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
and performance on Fri. July 19 at 7:00 pm,
and on the morning of Sat. July 20 at The Stewart Park Festival
It’s your chance to sing and dance along with the songs of the infamous television series, “Glee!” Sing in harmony, or solo, add some colourful costumes and lighting, and some eye-popping choreography, and you’ve got PAMT’s version of GLEE! For those of you who have joined us for Glee before, we’ll have new songs from all four Glee seasons this summer, and if you’re new to PAMT’s Glee experience, welcome aboard for the most fun you’ll ever have! Put it all together in a final performance at the Studio Theatre, and another show on the main stage of the famous Stewart Park Festival! A definite highlight of the summer – don’t miss it!

Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
(Ages 7 to 18)

Welcome to fans of fantasy, magic, and all things Tolkien! Continuing the plot of The Fellowship of the Ring, the Two Towers intercuts three storylines. Frodo and Sam continue their journey towards Mordor to destroy the One Ring, joined by Gollum. Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli come to the war-torn nation of Rohan and are reunited with the resurrected Gandalf, before fighting at the Battle of Helm’s Deep. Merry and Pippin escape capture, meet Treebeard the Ent, and help to plan an attack on Isengard. A workshop of epic proportions, including swordfighting and stage combat techniques, music, elaborate costumes and sets – this promises to be PAMT’s spectacular feat of the summer! Note that all new students, who did not participate in the “Fellowship of the Ring” workshop last summer, are most welcome to join us!

The Who’s Tommy
(Ages 12 to 19)

Peter Townshend’s tale of a young boy’s journey from pain to triumph is the most electrifying evening of rock and roll ever to play in a theatre! A powerful tale with themes of innocence lost, the pitfalls of idolatry, and spiritual rebirth, PAMT students will have much to discuss, and many complex characters to bring to life. PAMT’s version of Tommy will feature a live band, rocking out on famous tunes such as “I’m Free,” “See Me, Feel Me,” and “Pinball Wizard.” The classic ’60s rock opera by The Who was translated to the stage by theatrical wizard Des McAnuff into a high-energy, one-of-a-kind theatrical event. Playing in Stratford this year, and in tandem with our PAMT June trip to see Des McAnuff direct his iconic show once more, PAMT is excited to be able to present this incredible production. Disney’s The Little Mermaid
(Ages 4 to 12)

In a magical kingdom fathoms below, the beautiful young mermaid Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. But first, she’ll have to defy her father King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula, and convince Prince Eric that she’s the girl with the enchanting voice. With fun and quirky characters like Sebastian the crab, Flounder the fish, Scuttle the seagull, and Chef Louis, and featuring everyone’s favourite songs, including “Part of Your World” and “Under the Sea,” PAMT’s version of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” is going to be the hit of the summer!
